Oyster HR
Oyster HR is a global hiring platform that helps companies manage, and pay remote employees. At Oyster, I led a brand refresh to add a human touch into the HR industry. Our goal was to position the company as a "workstyle" brand, meaning we wanted to show how people implement their lifestyle into the way they work.

As part of this refresh, we launched a new landing page to introduce our updated brand identity that reflected our more human-centric approach. We expanded this refresh across multiple brand touch points, including brand guidelines, events, out-of-home campaigns, and branded collateral. Additionally, we simplified our product UI to make it more intuitive and quicker to understand.

One of the biggest overhauls in this refresh was our photography. I had the opportunity to art direct the entire process—from set and talent selection, planning, and pre/post production—working closely with the photographer Brett Lemky to ensure that every shot brought our new brand vision to life. The photography was essential in showcasing the human side of Oyster HR, reinforcing our commitment to a more personalized and engaging brand experience.
I came up with a tagline along with our new photo campaign, "More than a ____, always a ____,". With the idea that whether your new hire is a marketer, engineer, or designer, their role doesn’t define who they are as a person; it’s about showing the hires personality by having flexibility to blend passions and hobbies into their workstyle.
